Our story
For two decades, our founder traded in Baltic amber — resin that survived forty million years without losing its light. DORUK began as a question: what if we could do the same for skin?
From the Baltic coast to a quiet obsession
He started sourcing amber from the shores of Lithuania and Kaliningrad in his twenties — sorting raw pieces by clarity, hue, and the rare inclusions that collectors prized. It was a trade built on patience and the eye.
What stayed with him wasn't the commerce. It was the resin itself: succinic acid, antioxidants, a structure that endured tens of millions of years and still caught the morning light as if it were new. He began reading the science of how things age — and how, sometimes, they don't.
“I spent twenty years selling something that outlasted everyone who admired it. I wanted to give people a little of that.”
Named for the one thing he wanted to last
When his son was born, he named him Doruk — Turkish for “the peak.” The summit you climb toward, the highest point of a life well-kept. Years later, he gave the brand the same name.
DORUK is built on a simple belief: longevity isn't a promise you make — it's a result you can measure, and eventually, see. Every formula is lab-tested, evidence-led, and free of the theatre the category is known for.
